Evan is a ham!

We had our 28 weeks appointment today (the dreaded glucose tolerance test) and while we were there, Aunt GG did a 3D ultrasound for us. Finally, Blob of Goo is big enough to show off his personality and his good looks. We saw him smiling, opening his eyes and mouth, grimacing and even sticking his tongue out. We had a lot of good laughs realizing what he must be busy doing all day during his exercise routines. Our baby is going to be a ham!

We got a pretty good look at him and we think he's going to look a lot like our nephew Henry, which will suit us just fine! What do you think? Aunt GG kept calling him Henry during the session... too her own shock. It was funny! He measured in at 3 lbs and is growing strong. Can't wait to see him in person!

Here's our best 5 shots:

Look at those chubby cheeks!

You can see what life must be like cramped up in there with your feet next to your face.

Here Evan made us laugh...something tickled him and he smiled and then poked his tongue out at us! It was hysterical!

You can see he has a Henry profile here.

I'm a happy boy Mom and Dad...I like it in here!

The last couple weeks have been very entertaining for me. One night I was watching TV and I felt this small lump over my belly button. It was a hard little knob. Alarmed, I pulled up my shirt to see what kind of weird thing was going on. I could move the knob around under my skin between my finger and thumb. I could not figure out what it could possibly be until it suddenly kicked! Evan was pressing some body part against my stomach and letting me grab it and move it around...it was so awesome and bizarre at the same time. His little heel or elbow right there! I laughed out loud when I realized what was happening. Now he is responding to touch more and more, lots of fun games to be played. YAY!!
