xmas 2007

MERRY XMAS!!

Hope everybody is having a good xmas. This year we're having xmas in 3 parts...Kentucky, Atlanta and Athens. We've got 2 down, 1 to go. This a.m., we woke up and first things first
we made some coffee in our new coffee maker, with me in my snappy new pjs (both from Mike's mom and dad). Even Mike, the non-coffee drinker, tried some (with a little Bailey's added of course!).

Next, Tuna and Kite discovered that Santa had been to our house! He brought catnip and peanut butter filled goodies and some new toys! Lots of things to snuffle at.
Then Mike and I got to open our presents to each other. I got a new game for game night (Boggle - woo hoo!), some books I've been wanting, and some new running clothes. Mike got some new books, a new won't-see-him-for-days-on-the-computer game, and his number one "i-want-it," an iced-tea maker!

After all the paper-ripping was over, we decided to play with our big present, and its newest accessory, a tripod! Sweet! Here are the results:

We still have a ton to learn about our new toy, so thank goodness we also got two photography books for dummies! The hardest part is the image editing we have to do to get them set for the web. We need an external flash really bad (hint hint). Here are a couple more pictures Mike took in Kentucky of his mom's xmas tree and our baby nephew Reece. Both are awesome!

That's all for now. Cheers to all our friends and family, we love you and wish you the happiest of holidays and good things to come for 2008!

What fun to be at your house on Christmas vicariously. Wish I had been there in person! You guys know how to have a good time. I would have enjoyed seeing the animals get there presents. Photos were great fun, too. Loved the baby's hair-do! So, glad we were on your "Christmas AS A Moving Train" experience list. We'll be at your house waiting for our presents next year! Love, Momma
